        Lin,Chi-Jen Grace transfered to Eastern Michigan University in 2001, majoring in Language and International Trade, Japanese and Computer Information System. Prior to transfering to EMU, she was an English teacher (1999-2001) at Joy Children's Language School and SzuDer Elementary School and she received her Associate Degree from National Taichung Institute Technology in Taiwan in 1999.

          She was awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement, named to the Dean's List in the College of Arts and Sciences (2001-2004), also received the Foreign Languages and Bilingual Studies' Certificate of Recognition (2002), EMU's International Student Awards Scholarship (2001-2003), National Scholars Program Award (2001-2003), member of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and Golden Key International Honor Society in 2003.

         She was baptized on Feb 14, 1996 and became a Christian. She leads a christian life since she was 16. She enjoys her church life and likes to read the Bible. In 1999, her family were all baptized. Now she joins The Church in Ann Arbor since 2001. Besides, she likes to read, listen to the music, sing , play the piano, make friends,and swim.
         Her family lives in Wufeng, Taichung. Her father is a manager,working in Mainland China. Her mother is an insurance consultant. Due to her father's occupation, she cherishes and enjoys the time that her family spends together. She also like to spend time with friends. She has a younger brother, Andy.
