It is really nice to have something to say about myself before going onto this homepage. My name is Conchitina "Chie" Sanz Realuyo, born on the 14th of July in Guinobatan, Albay, Philippines. I took my grade school,
batch '82 and high school, batch '86 in St. Benedict's Academy, also in Guinobatan. I finished my Bachelor's Degree
in Commerce major in Business Management at St. Paul's College, Q.C. in 1990.
Most of the exciting moments in my earlier years were spent during my days in Bicol. Beautiful memories and experiences I can never forget which has molded my personality to what I am right now. I enjoyed being an active
student of the school, being part of the Volleyball Varsity Players, Choir, Dance troupe, and productions. I also won several singing contests and enjoyed getting to know different personalities in my district. In college at St. Paul's, it
was a life of independence, away from my hometown, family and friends but that was the time changes in my life took place. Being in an exclusive school for girls, I thought it would be boring. Manila life was extremely different from the conservative province I came from. Though it helped me more recognized myself, gained more confidence, became
more flexible and enjoyed being with people, with my friends...still, there's really no place like home....
In 1993, luck came to me when I landed the job as Research Assistant/Secretary to the Vice President of St. Joseph's College, Q.C. (my second home) This was also the year I got married and a beautiful angel, my Jian Cayla
was born. Anyway, the office closed down a year after and I was transferred to the Christian Formation office in a
month then assigned to the Day High School Supervisor's office as Secretary. Months after, i decided to resign and
find my way back to my hometown. I worked as a Computer Operator in Fiber Industry Development Authority,
Legazpi City for a year then ventured into hewlett packard laser printer remanufacturing business.
Unfortunately, my marriage collapsed in 1999...ehem! I didn't expect that there are friends and guests who are interested to know why my marriage ended. Well, it's a story of trust and betrayal..my ex-husband and ex-bestfriend (take note: both married and with kids) betrayed me, they went away together, so in-love with each other and never
really care to think what damaged they have done. The pain that causes cannot be described, total family break-up, children being destroyed, self-esteem being shattered, financial problems, depression. But then God spoke to me and made me realized that it wasn't my loss neither the ex-bestfriend's spouse's loss because we have with us our respective kids to be proud about. God woke me up to remind me that he made the earth beautiful to live by and that
life has to move on.
So, I went back to Manila and confidently re-applied at St. Joseph's College, Q.C. I was re-accepted in the institution as Substitute Grade School Registrar for eight months and by God's grace I was finally given a permanent slot at the Network Systems. I am so thankful that my superiors still believed in my capabilities and most of all, I have found the right job for me. I love what I am doing now and I love my job.
Now, there are so many beautiful things happening in my life. New life and new love, and the story begins... The most important thing in my life now is to have peace and friendly mind. I am enjoying life to the fullest because I believe that life is a one way street. No matter how many detours you take, none of them leads back. So, I enjoy life's every moment as I know that none of them will happen the same way again.
Enjoy life while you are young. Maximize with what life has to offer and what happiness can give you. Create
new friendships that could lead you to a wonderful relationships. Be friendly and unique and most of all HAVE FAITH
IN GOD. Be thankful for what God has given you everyday. If you have felt hopeless, hold on and never give up
because God has good and better plans for you. Thank God for giving you LIFE. Thank you LORD!!! |
