Return to churches of London
Westminster Abbey is a work of 13th - 16th century architectural splendour, as well as being a place of worship for many people, and a unique pageant of British history, containing countless memorials to many well - known figures in history.
Every Britsh monarch since William the conqueror, excluding Edward V and Edward VIII has been crowned in the abbey.
