Each motorway contains facts and photos, and in many cases a video of the the road in question. LMARS www.lmars.co.uk LMARS contains detailed information mainly relating to Lancashire. As well as this, there are some great photo galleries of roads across Britain and Europe. The motorway Archive www.iht.org/motorway/page1s.htm A very detailed site, covering all corners of the UK. This site has interesting figures about the planning, construction and completion of many British motorways. Within this, there are some fascinating old photographs of motorways.
