Return to Bridges
The Humber Bridge, opened in 1981, used to have the world's largest span (the distance between the supports). It crosses the river Humber near the city of Kingston upon Hull (normally just known as 'Hull') in East Yorkshire, spanning a gap of about 2 miles. The road which crosses over the bridge is the A15.
