Probably the best (and most expensive) mod on my bike.  The factory seat is uncomfortable and very unsupportive.  Corbin's Gunfighter and Lady seat supports both the rider and the passenger, plus the passenger back rest is a very nice touch.

One of my first mods was the installation of a Stage 1 Factory Jet Kit (about $ 50.00).  A jet kit was needed to increase the mid-range fuel feed (RF900's are known for their mid-range weakness).  The bike has been running like a champ after installation, carb sinc, and fuel-pilot screw adjustment (I backed out the pilot fuel screw to 2.25 turns from stop, much more rich from the factory set of 1.5 turns).

A K&N air filter was required after the jet kit (about $ 30.00).  A K&N air filter will increase the air flow to the carb and recommended with a carb mod.

Installed is a carbon-fiber Yoshimura slip-on muffler (about $ 300.00).  This mod is also recommended with a carb mod as the new pipe should increase power by decreasing exhaust back-pressure.  It also looks cool and deepens the sound.

Helibars (about $ 150.00) are replacement handlebars that will decrease the arm-reach of the rider by increasing the height of the bars by a few inches and angling the bars toward the rider.  Easy install and highly recommended.

Throttlemeister (about $ 30.00) produces a throttle lock that replaces the weights located at the end of the handlebars.  The lock is very useful during long trips.

I purchased a Zero Degree Double Bubble windscreen off of ebay for $ 50.00 (retail is $ 80.00).  I thought it looked cool!!

Turn Signal Mod

I got the idea from some of the guys from Eddi's Suzuki RF Web Page that the rear turn signals should be integrated into the rear stop/park lights.  This would eliminate the rear turn signals and use the RF's unusual rear lights for signals.  I think that the mod looks sharp.

Rear Felder Elimination

Well, I finally had the chance to shave down the rear fender.  Note change from picture above.  By the way, thanks again to the guys for suggesting a Dremel rotary tool for the cutting and sanding.  I may re-shave the felder down even more, but I will need to find a piece of sheet metal in order to re-attach the licence plate.
