Nursery

Silver Unicorn's Drigus Adoption Angency

You follow the path that Wyndle pointed out as the Nursery path. As you move further down the path, you start to wonder if Wyndle tricked you. The trees around you seem to press closer and you get the feeling your being watched. But no sooner then you start feeling the need to turn around, the forest gives way to the Nursery. You notice the temperature is several degrees hotter.

You back up and hear a little squeek as you bump into an object. You turn around quickly and find a small blue haired drigus behind you.

"That's the last time I step behind someone." She mutters to herself and shakes her head. "My head's going to hurt for some time. But that's not your fault stranger." She heavys a huge sigh and puts on a smile. "My name is Chris...Short for Christmas.. which is when I was born. So what can I do for you?"

You tell her your here to see the young drigetti.

"Ah! The little darlings always love company. Right now there one egg. It's a genotypless egg.. but we also have the already hatched." She motiond over to a corner of the Glade full of leafy nests.. "Over there is where the eggs stay. The parents always come to take care of them and even at time help me with the hatched."

In The Leaves

Chris looks at the leaves and sighs. "There is nothing here right now. We had a Pink egg.. But it never hatched.." Her head droops a bit. "I guess it wasn't ment to be.." She brightens just a bit. "But come meet some of the others here."

She then moves to show you another spot, when another drigus trots up. His silvery mane glitters in the daylight. He studies you carefully as Chris says. "Here's another ward I was looking out for." She stops talking for a moment and gives the drigus a soft smile. "Tih'Drue meet our guest." The male snorts, but bows his head when Chris gives him a warning look.

He sighs heavily and looks to you. When he speaks his voice is the most pleasant of baratones, perfect for singing."Greetings stranger, as Chris has pointed out my name is Tih'Dru. Now if you will excuse me, I need to catch up with Kevyn and search for a new home as well."

"Becareful." Chris gives a bit of a sniffle. "They are all growing so fast." She pulls herself together and turns to you again. "I've heard wonderful things about the Dru'siti Desert Herd. Those are Tih'dru's origin. Thay have lovely members and even one with a beautiful voice, I believe she is his mother."

Chris leads you away from the leaf nest and calls out out to a little Yellow maned Drigus. "Dryam! Sweetie! Please come say hello."

"Yes Nanna Chris." The young teen trots none to gracfully over to the pair of you. "H'lo." It says shyly.

Chris looks down at the lovely little boy and smiles softly."This is Dryam. He comes from a different drigetti herd then the others in this glade. But that doesn't make him any less special."

The little yellow maned boy blushes with embaressment. "Can I go play now??" Chris nods and the little drigus turns to leave.

As Dryam gallops away, a shy pink drigus peeks her head out from behind a bush. Chris smiles softly at the teen. "It's alright, hon. These are nice people." The pink drigus hides back behind the bush again. Chris smiles fondly after. "She grown into such a quite little thing. I dunno if anything will get her to talk to one stranger. But she's my favorite drigus and I've grown closer to her then the others. Though I'm not saying I don't love them as much, I just waited so long for her to hatch."

Chris watches as the little thing runs akwardly off. "Well, stranger that's all there is here. Thank You for the visit and please come back and visit us again some time." You nod and look for the way back.
