No two dogs are exactly alike. But we think these are stunningly unique individuals. We'll have to wait until some of the judges have another look at these beauties.

In the past, breeders and exhibitors have shyed away from the MERLE coated variations of the chihuahua. This is not a "new color", nor is it the result of a strange cross. These are simply beautiful chihuahuas--we thought you'd enjoy them too. In certain breeds of domestic dogs, the merle coats (especially the blues) are known to produce a "LETHAL WHITE" gene. This gene can cause a number of problems such as blindness, hearing impairment, and poor skin & coat health.
Because of modern technology, gene research advancement & study, careful breeders can produce these dogs with NONE of the "LETHAL WHITE" characteristics.
