 Bree Van De Kamp
Bree gets Series Two off to a smashing start by once again demonstrating her need for perfection. She followed the rule of no phone calls before 9:00. She asked if anyone wanted Rex's soy milk before it went bad. She even made sure Rex wouldn't be sent to eternity wearing that ugly prep school tie his mother put on him. "Give me your tie" she says to Tom. Although she's still not my fave (Gabrielle and Lynette have that in a lock), Bree always does her best to be "Housewife of the Week." You never know what she's going to do next. "I will go non-denomonational so fast it will make your head spin."
Other Highlights Thank you, Marc Cherry, for that gratuitious shirtless scene with John Rowland. If you can get a full-frontal shot through ABC's censors, all of us will love you that much more. Gabrielle nearly got the title for throwing John out (aww...into his roommate Justin's open arms, I bet) and faking a paternity result. "I was fond of you until you told my husband about our affair. Now, not so much. Lynette tried by diapering her baby (who knew she had a girl?) during her interview. And Susan broke things off with Mike after finding out Zach was his son. She also caused a gun to fire when Bongo caught ahold of her pants. Also, new neighbour Betty Applewhite is keeping someone locked in the basement. "As long as they keep their lawn neat, you really don't want to know what's going on with your neighbours."
