It was all about the Desperate Husbands this week, and Tom Scavo came out a winner. Tom wanted to plan a special, romantic ninth anniversary surprise for the lovely Lynette, who just wanted to stay at home, take a bath and sleep. (C'mon, I'm gay, and even I know women would not be happy with that no matter what they say!) Tom knew this too, so he planned a limo, candlelit dinner on a cliff and plenty of romance. Lynette figured out he was planning something and told him she didn't want it. So he decided to cancel. Only he forgot to call the limo and was playing poker with Carlos, Dumbass Plumber Mike, Dashing British Bloke Ian and Not-So-Deranged Dentist Dude Orson. Poor Lynette was left out in the cold for hours! But Tom still got lucky as Lynette appreciated the effort in the end.
Elsewhere on Wisteria Lane Edie has a son! Remember that tidbit on the pilot? Too bad Carlos had to give up his date with BigJugsBetty.com to take care of the kid, making Carlos realise how much he wanted a son and make me realise that I was right about my guess that Carlos and Edie having chemistry. Dumbass Plumber Mike realised that Dashing British Bloke Ian had seen the engagement ring and got the idea to propose to Susan. So Dashing British Bloke Ian suggested a bet at poker. If DBBIan won, Mike would not be allowed to tell Susan. If he lost, the Dumbass Plumber could tell Susan whatever he wanted. Thankfully, DBBIan won. Really Annoying Mayor Candidate ran into Gabrielle's car on purpose, and Gabrielle told him the restaurant wasn't the only thing hard to get into. Oh dear. Gabrielle, let's have a discussion about your taste in men, okay? And the big news is Danielle Van De Tramp got knocked up! Not-So-Deranged Dentist Dude Orson and out-of-town Bree came up with the idea for Danielle to join them on the honeymoon and then decide to study abroad and come back nine months later and no one will find out! And even better, Not-So-Deranged-Dentist-Dude Orson and Andrew convinced Austin to leave Fairview FOREVER! Hurrah! |
