Housewife of the Week

They Ask Me Why I Believe In You
23-October-2005
Bree Van De Kamp

Oh, Bree. When you let go, you really let go. After learning that Rex died believing that she killed him, Bree decided it would be best if he be buried nowhere near her and "he can decompose with strangers." The other Housewives plus Edie watched in shock as Bree went on a tirade on how she was the perfect wife for 18 years and her late husband still died thinking she killed him. It looked like Marcia was channelling Faye as Joan there. But I'm not complaining. It got her an unexpected Housewife of the Week, didn't it?

Other Highlights Lynette got her boss drunk so she would loosen up around the office, but it backfired on her when Nina insisted she go out every night. So Lynette got rowdy and danced the night away, insuring that she wouldn't be the "safe, married friend" anymore. Carlos fired Lawyer Guy, and Lawyer Guy got re-hired by promising he would seduce Gabrielle if he wasn't re-hired, instead of taking Gabrielle's suggestion that he say he was gay. Gabrielle and Carlos also went to an interesting couple's therapy in prison. We found out that a girl was murdered back in Chicago where the Applewhites are from. Susan's agent was stealing money from her, and he tried to seduce her, and she fired him. He should hook up with her mother...OFF THE SHOW. And Paul is lurking in his house with a knife. Uh oh.
