| RULES AGREED TO ON CHICOLETE LEASE |
| 1. All members shall assist in opening and closing the camp on dates mutually agreed to by the majority. 2. Texas Parks and Wildlife rules shall be strictly enforced. 3. Breaking of Texas Parks and Wildlife rules and regulations is grounds for automatic removal with no refund. 4. Any time a hunter is going to the lease, he must contact the head potentate or other hunters in order to keep an idea of how many will be hunting or staying in camp. In off-season, this must also be done by calling the potentate or the assistant potentate. We will contact the landowner to OK entry. (If camp is empty when you leave for the hunt leave a note at camp on the table telling other hunters were you went.) 5. Driving on the lease is allowed from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.(deer season rule) 6. Pick up all empty shell cases. 7. Pick up any trash seen on the lease, especially cans and plastic. 8. No alcohol drinking on the stand during the hunt with weapons loaded. 9. All guns must be unloaded before entering any vehicle or entering the camp. 10. The center section will not have more than two hunters at a time on it at the request of the land owner. 11. No family members or guest on the lease the 1st weekends of deer season unless agreed to by members. We have a section you may camp in with family members opening weekend. 12. Family members are allowed to hunt rabbits, ducks, geese, dove, quail, squirrels, hogs, skunks, armadillos, bob cats and coyotes only. (And doe's with permission) 13. If a gate is open upon passage, leave it open except that no gate dividing the three sections shall ever be left open, if a dividing gate is open close it. If a gate is closed, it must be closed upon passage. Failure to do so is cause of automatic removal from the lease with no refunds. The gate must be retied the same as it was when you untied the gate. 14. The lease payment will be made in two payments with the first 50% due in August. (all balances are due in October) new members must pay in full. 15. Only the potentate or assistant potentate shall make official contact with the landowners. 16. Hunting areas will be chosen by seniority on the lease with the longest tenure choosing first. Hunters with a family or guest should choose last and the member must accompany the family or guest outside the camp area. It is important that you stay with your guest or very near your guest while hunting. Each member will be held responsible for the actions of their guest. No area will be exclusive to any hunter for the entire season. Use of another hunter's stand should only be done with the owner of that stands permission. It is recommended that all stands be setup at least 400 yards apart. 17. All hunters must promise to lie for all other hunters when appropriate.................just kidding 18. New rule for the West End, no guest will be allowed on the lease after season starts in the west end. The land owner will not allow guest in that area after the season starts. It will be ok for them to visit the 2 weeks before and after the season. ( I do not beilieve he means your wife or girl friend and small children, but no one over 17 will be allowed in that area during the season.) The east end will be ok for guest but you will need to set up camp near the old ranch house site, this should be a no trace camp site. 19. The rules of Black Ball, this is intended to be a guide line for the conducting of a black ball vote. There are several uses for this vote one may be to make a decision about an issue or a new rule. The other is to decide if the conduct of another hunter or his guest is grounds for dismissal from the lease. In either case the vote shall be conducted as follows. The members shall be given enough information about and issue or incident that is in question via there e-mail account, at that point they will be given a password to enter the Black Ball page on the web site to cast there vote. Black will mean against and white will mean in favor of the issue or member. Three days shall be allowed to cast your vote from the mailing, after such time the potentate shall gather the votes for a final decision. The results shall be issued back to members via e-mail. The deciding factors in counting a black ball vote about any issue or member receiving more than two black ball votes shall be in question by the potentate and the potentate shall then decide to dismiss the issue in question or the member from the lease. The second condition is a vote that exceeds 51% of the members. (Example: 10 members vote, 5 votes in favor, this is a split and the potentate must decide the issue. If the votes reach 6 for or against the potentate shall have no choice but to agree with the vote. ) All voting is tracked with out the identity of the voter. This is a secret ballot vote. (never been used yet) 20. Guest rules, all guest will read the rules of the lease and sign one copy to be keeped in a folder in camp. This will be the first requirement for any guest. |

| The rules below have been used for the past 10 years and more they are not intended to reduce the amount of fun you have. These rules are the basic guidlines to settle any diputes between members and promote safe hunting. Each year there are changes that we make at the beginning of the season. |
