<BGSOUND SRC="Something.Mid" LOOP=INFINITE>
Hello Alpo, whelped 8-11-98 (Hello Mr D - PD Totaleclipse), came to Kansas with the hope of entering the Great American Greyhound Futurity. He was very young, just 15 months old, when he arrived in the kennel. He didn't make the futurity that year, but developed into a solid Grade A competitor.
Alpo comes home!
Oh boy, oh boy TOYS!!
Toys and Alpo were love at first sight. Unfortunately, his favorite play time begins about 4 or 5 am.  Gotta work on that.
FRIENDS
Two gentle boys can become friends very quickly, even when one of them is a "grumpy old man".  Alpo just ignores Chico's "grumps". Think he's noticed that Chico doesn't have any teeth?
It's been a long time since I've had a greyhound fresh from the track. What fun to watch the new discoveries. Stairs came easy for Alpo, and he's been  pretty fearless for a "shy" guy.

"NO"

My "perfect" boy learned "no" when he decided shoes made perfectly good toys, even if they didn't squeak.
(If I can't have your shoes can I have the throw rugs?)

I've quickly learned that when I wake to a sound I don't recognize...
OH, OH ALPO!
Cockroachin' is a way of life

If cockroaching is a sign of being relaxed, Alpo has it down to a fine art. This boy is upside down as often as he's up.

Relaxed is just what I wanted for this guy.

WELCOME HOME, ALPO
