Adopted Friends
The bonds we form with these hounds are not always the most obvious. The littermate of a kennel hound can be just as special to you, although you may have never met them.
Sara
Sally
These pretty dark faced girls traveled to Michigan from our owners farm in Kansas. They never made it to the race kennel, but I I loved their littermates Smiley and Sharon. Smiley and another little sister, Susan, just went to adoption!!
Sally
Task Sally Shine
Sally was in our kennel for just a few months before she moved to Florida. She was a shy little girl who learned hugs and kisses were pretty nice. I worried about her shyness. Sally was adopted through Escarosa Greyhound Adoption and now lives in Ohio.
Dad says she's getting lots of hugs!
ICE ( Levins)
Charlie (Notorious Dog)
Ogold Sam
BUCK
Silver Box Car
This special guy was adopted here in Kansas City by our friend Shelly.
Buck is a shy hound whose love knows no bounds once he decides you're "ok".
Can you see the adoration in his eyes?

"Do I really have to leave?"

Our friend Shelly is a Vet who has adopted, fostered and placed many of our greyt hounds. Buck loves his new forever home!
TONIC
HBG's Ginntonic
Tonic is one cool greyhound!
Now known as "Tony" he will be enjoying his laid back days on a couch in Michigan. Thanks GEM!
VIPER
Real Viper
COUNTRY
LH Real Country
The sweetest boy in the greyhound world!
Viper found his new home in Michigan. You just gotta love this gentle boy!
A lucky family in KC found a  real winner in this guy. Country is a  laid back cool hound with nothin but love on his mind.
Viper, Country and their brother Real Cobra were the sweetest, most gentle greyhounds from their first day in the race kennel.
We sure loved them.
MARTY TIP
This happy guy, now known as "Boomer" enjoys the good life in Oklahoma. How could you resist that face!
Love ya, Marty!
VACATION
Mr Vacation
HOOD
Lady's Ft. Hood

I found this handsome guy on TLC-Michigan's website. He left our kennel early in his career. I'm so glad he's found his way to a couch.
Here's to you Hood!

Hood is a littermate to Lady's Ft. Riley.
What a great toy boy!
Vacation found retirement in Michigan thanks to our friends at GEM.
Think he's got the hang of it!
TWIZZLER
HBG's Twizzler

Twizzie is enjoying her retirement in Ohio, thanks to Greyhound Support of KC and Ohio Greyhound Adoption. It was great to talk to her new family and learn how very much her life is filled with love.
SARAH and MAX
These gorgeous beauties were  adopted by my friend Denise.

When she told me she had Sarah I thought she had little fawn Sara (above).

Her pretty brindle Sarah and her pal Max both traveled to Michigan for adoption  from The Woodlands.
They're family!

How small our greyhound world seems to be...Denise has met little Sally and even had Hood (below) as a weekend house guest! Isn't that cool.
