Vegas Baby, Vegas
We have been in Vegas since March 4th. The climbing is world class. You know you are in a premier area when the people climbing next to you are speaking German or are from Whales. We have camped in several different grocery parking lots and got kicked out of a few of them. The big black van looks suspicious. I was lucky enough to send my project - Fear and Loathing. One of the best treats was a shower at the Bellagio compliments of TK.

Rachel is an awesome belayer. She is patient and supportive and gives me lots of soft catches when I fall. Topaz wants to protecting us against all the other evil dogs. She has done really well on the hikes. Everyone knows her name better than ours.
Allen and Josh came to visit. You can see the reflection of the cliffs on the ambulance. Allen reminded us to always keep cold beer in the car.
We went to the Hoover dam. Thank God Superman put it back together cause it is pretty kewl. This statue at Hoover Dam is bad a**!
We tried to sell our hats and jewlery one day. Rachel sold a couple of things and then we got kicked out for not having a permit. Why do you need a permit anyway? It was still a good day. We talked to some guy from Londan, a couple from Michigan, and a bunch of slack liners. That was crazy - they had a slack line set up across the canyon.
This is the hike back from Sunny and Steep. The description is supposed to mean the wall, but we are convinced that is the trail. It takes about 45 minutes for a fit Canadian. We decided that we should take pictures and take our time. The view doesn't suck. Can you see Rachel in black??
