| Jean Simmons Why I like her: Well, she was in Guys and Dolls (a very cool movie), and she can sing. She is also just gorgeous! Don't you think? Some people, when she first started, thought she looked like Vivien Leigh. I don't think so though. Now, I don't know if any of you remember, but she played Spartacus's love interest in Spartacus. 6th grade. good times. She was also in Hamlet with Laurence Olivier and she was in Young Bess ( a movie about Elizabeth I). And, she played the title role in the movie version of one of my favorite books, Desiree. | Jean Harlow Why I like her: She was the original blonde bombshell, who died at age 26 in the 30's. She died from a kidney infection, and refused to go to doctor untill she was done filming Saratoga with Clark Gable. By that time, it was too late. Thats why I like her. I feel sorry for her. She is, though, or was a very nice person, according to her costars. She is a great actress who usually played the role of vamps and kinda sulty women. Such a great women and actress. | Jane Powell Why I Like Her: Well, she is just so cute! She does these cute little teenage roles in the late 40's and early 50's. She sings divinly and wears the MOSTbeautiful dresses. They have so much color and they are so pretty. Thats just one reason to watch her movies, she is just a cute actress and is a delight to watch.
