Each issue is accompanied by explanatory notes giving any background you may need to know to help the issue to make sense, the characters that appear in the issue, and possibly even warning you not to bother reading it as it's so terrible.

Note: This issue was drawn in about 15 seconds, so is even worse than usual. Please keep this in mind. However, at the time of drawing Paul Brighton gave it a hearty thumbs up. (But then again, do you even know who he is?)

Note: This issue was done as History homework in year 11 when some bizarre substitute teacher wanted us to do a cartoon strip version of the invasions of Pearl Harbour and Hong Kong. This issue is without doubt the WORST EVER. Do NOT read. In case you're interested I got a D because of it's "moral boasting humor, but let down by historical innacuracies. The Japanese did NOT have giant chickens piloting their aircraft".

Note: The first issue of Chickenman produced after a lengthy break from June-October 98. A stylistic difference is present compared to earlier issues in the vast amounts of blood, making this one of the goriest ever!

Note: This is one of the few issues where the exact date it was done is known. This is due to the fact it was done on the paper supplied by the hotel on Cheezy's mysterious "business" trip to Amsterdam during the October half term in 1998.

Note: This issue is set after 'Birthday Special #1', in which Chickenlady was brought back to life. In this issue she dies again and resumes her role as the devil.

Note: This is the legendary cross-over adventure between Chickenman and the world famous 'Monkey', who has his own comic strip on Dan's Monkey Site.

"Chickenman vs Communist Ben"

Note: See Chickenman defeat crush the evil communist forces! This amazing issue was produced as part of the out of court settlement between Spider Comics and the United States government following the law suit over the treatment of the American forces in issue 22. The law suit filed by Tony Blair following this issue has yet to be settled.

Note:This issue is weird odd and crap. It makes no sense and is narrated by Nakawasi, a mysterious head I made up on the spur of the moment. This issue was drawn in 5 minutes at 2 in the morning (then colored in the next day, which took 2 hours!). Read it if you like, don't if you don't.

Note: This issue is presented in the form of a cartoon using Flash! Ooh! Also Shiny Forehead Girl is based on Amy Kemp, who up until June 1999 had an extremely shiny forehead, though apparently doesn't anymore.
