| After MUNCHKINS IN THE CAN ended their seven years of self-destructive debauchery, Mr. Weldon Carthel was not finished so he brewed up a batch called SASPIRILLA. The original lineup featured some of Weldon's favorite musicians: obviously no one can play horrible fucked up bass worse than him so he had the bass spot, to cover up the fucked up bass he needed some noisy yet crafty guitar handled by Mr. Joe Guitarzan, and then his fave fucked up rock-a-billy styling yet ass kicking drumming of Mr. Eric Butler. The band later went through member changes but still kept to the BUZZCOCKS meets TREEPEOPLE sound.
