Tactical Light ...so you can identify what you are about to kill. ...or, er, give the bad guy a signal where to shoot back.

...lovingly machined from aluminum and plastic, this attractive tactical light is powered by two of those shockingly expensive "photo" batteries which drive a Surefire P60 (or P61) and fitted with a Chinese pressure switch purchased in bulk from a guy with a club foot in a dirty little shop in Hong Kong. (I can make them now, though). Water resistant and shock resistant, this little light will insure you are a beacon in the night for enemy and friendly fire alike.

The metal battery tube can be quickly replaced with a longer one (4 times longer) which allows the use of four rechargable AA batteries. The pressure switch can be replaced with any number of options (pushbutton, knob, remote toggle, tripwire, etc.). The plastic part is unfinished (we prefer to say "optically flat") because it was intended to be made from aluminum...but I didn't have any 40mm stock... ergo, this is a prototype. My next generation SCUBA diving lights / underwater video lights will be made with these bulbs.

The ring on the taclight fits a standard scope ring so mounting becomes easy. Here it is, mounted on a PGP and ready to give urban smackdown in a drunken game of paintball back behind the ChickenHead.
