Urban Paintball
Paintball is very, very fun.  Most people like to play in the daytime with 200 round hoppers.  Combat is just not so real  when everybody carries an M-60 loaded with tracers (slow paintballs) which they walk in on their target.  I feel screwed when some dick gets a lucky shot in my foot as him and his 3 buddies open up on me with 800 rounds of suppressive fire... and my Rambo charges NEVER work.

I prefer nightime paintball (in an urban setting) with 10 to 30 rounds.  Oddly, in the dark, you can panicfire 10 rounds at somebody 3 meters away and not even hit them.  This is much better training for real-world situations.  It is also a lot more fun than running around in a field playing Spray and Pray Grabass.

While I threaten myself  to build a paintball gun from scratch, Spyders and Tipmans are excellent guns and are much easier to buy than make.  All of the additions are lots of fun to add, however.

Sadly, I haven't taken pictures of many of my paintball guns before they were sold.  If you have one, please send me a picture.
This is a good ol' Spyder.  A Hekler and Koch side folding stock and K-grip make this a dream to clear rooms with.  A Chinese red-dot scope (purchased in Cambodia) makes aiming a breeze.   A solid acessory rail holds the front grip, a flashlight and a laser (not shown).  I used this gun until it was replaced with my new model.  This gun sold as soon as I put it up for sale.

A PGP is the basis for this urban nightmare.  A 40mm red-dot scope, laser and Surefire light give the tactical edge necessary to lay some alleyway smackdown.  An M-4 buttplug insures a steady aim and excellent balance.

When some idiot is lowcrawling through the grass and brush and you only have one chance to hit the top of his head as you track him through the branches, this is for you.

This was a Spyder SE.  I designed the scope/tank mount to fit on any Spyder so I will probably return this SE to its origional form as soon as I get another Spyder One.

I hate the camo anodizing.  How about blakc?

Well... not yet.  I precision mounted a scope rail and machined a knob to adjust pressure.

As soon as I get an M-16 front guard and a CAR-15 stock, this baby will look sweet!
ChickenHeadArms Custom Gun?
This is the one I use when I play "for real" (as in not behind the ChickenHead with a bunch of drunks).  By summer, there are so many plants that you must have a scope.  Even if you know where a guy is, you dare not miss or he will duck down behind the paintball-breaking grass... and shoot back.  I use the scope to track their head.  As soon as I have a clear shot, I take it.
