I am a 15 year old student at Pocono Mountain West High School. I have been born and raised in Tobyhanna, PA. Living in the same town for your whole life is pretty unusual in this day in age, but I like where I am from. Tobyhanna is a pretty small town in the Poconos that has grown over the years. It will be bittersweet when I have to leave in a few years and go to college.

Another unusual thing about me is that I am an only child. I like not having any brothers or sisters. I don't feel like I missed out on anything growing up without siblings. I don't know any different. In my house, it's just my parents, my dog, Belle (pictured at right) and me.

Right now I am a sophomore in high school. I am on the distinguished honor roll and strive for good grades. I am also involved with my school's Student Council. We plan exciting events for the school and help to make it a better place. Student Council is a fun and rewarding thing to do for your school.

After I graduate from high school, I plan on going to college. I am still unsure of where I want to go. I do know that I want to become a teacher. I will probably teach elementary school. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I am good with kids. Other than that, who knows where life will lead me?!
