For me personally, it was a very long day preparing for the prom. I got up early (about 8:00) to do my nails. I put about 4 coats of this beautiful dark blue nail polish that I had borrowed from Cenza. Then I put a clear coat on top, but the clear coat started to melt the blue stuff, so I had to put on another blue coat. I think it was also water soluble; it melted when I washed my hands. I had a hair appointment for 1:00 at the Hair Zoo on Empire Boulevard, and I figured I'd have to wait. Surprisingly, I was in within 10 minutes. A stylist named Jasmine did my hair, and she'd never seen anyone who had as much hair as me. After 45 minutes to an hour with the curling iron, she was done. At least her next hair appointment (Tim Cody) didn't mind too much because I know him. Meanwhile, my mom picked up the boutanier (I don't think I spelled that right) for my date from Kittelberger's Florist. Makeup was a nightmare; I was lighter than about 98% of the lightest shades of the makeup I found, but somehow my mom and I found some that worked. Before I knew it, my date, Dima Dats, was at my house, all ready for the prom in his tuxedo. Pretty soon, the limo came and picked us up, and we went to Margie's house for dinner.
