| These night tournaments can be rough on us, but starting an hour earlier and cutting two hours off of the time of the tournament, I do believe that most of us were pretty awake at the weigh-in. In all, 8 people weighed in 15 fish for a total weight of 26.79 #. That's an average of approximately 1.78 # per fish! I wish I could of had one of those. Nearly $600 was paid out that night. Night tournament 2002, August 24th on Lake Texoma follow: 1st BRYAN SIMS 8.34 # 5 fish $ 211.00 2nd TOM RICKEY 5.76 # 2 fish $ 119.00 3rd JOHNNIE ROGERS 3.46 # 2 fish $ 74.00 4th RON BROWN 3.26 # 2 fish $ 45.00 BIG BASS TOM RICKEY 4.09* # $140.00 *New big bass of the year. Since the tournament at Texoma, there have been a couple of changes in our Top 6 team, but it should be a good one! Next tournament will be at Eufaula, September 21, 2002. We will lauching out the hi-way 9 north ramp at 7:00 am (or safe light) and put up at 3:00 pm. We are looking forward to seeing everyone at Eufaula! |
