The day before their trip to OC, Jennifer had to work until later that night, and headed to Kelly's house after she got off work. Kelly was all set for the trip, and was waiting up for Jennifer to get to her house. Well, it reached 10:30 or so, and Kelly started getting really tired...she had woken up pretty early that morning and did a bunch of cleaning in her room during the day, so she had reason to be tired. Before she knows it, Kelly is fast asleep, and Jennifer is due to be at her house at any time!
The next thing she knows, there is a knocking on Kelly's window, and there's a small blue light shining through on one spot!
K: *starts freaking out* OMG! Who's at my window! *realizes that Jen is supposed to be there anytime*
J: *starts busting up laughing* Let me inside, chicka! It's cold out here!
So, Kelly goes to the front door and lets Jen into the house. She feels really bad for falling asleep, but she also feels REALLY stupid for not realizing that it was Jen at her window!
K: OMG...I cannot believe I forgot that it was you!
J: Didn't you hear your phone ring? I called you like 5 times! I left a few messages, too, thinking you'd get them...
*as Kelly's phone goes off saying she has messages*
K: Yeah, I slept through my phone ringing...luckily I've only been asleep for an hour! You really
freaked me out, though! I didn't think that it was you at my window...it was like I forgot about you!
J: Yeah�I thought you were awake because your lamp was on...so I knocked on your window,
thinking that you just hadn't seen me pull into the driveway�I didn't see that you were asleep till
then!
K: Haha, yeah, but I'm just glad that it was you! You gave me a heart attack!
*then they both start laughing*
To say the least, that was the crazy beginning to their crazy trip. After they got Jen's stuff into Kelly's room, they decided to run to Wal Mart so they could get some caffeine and chocolate�since they both had the munchies. :) They planned on getting some sleep, but that just didn't happen; they were too hyped up on adrenaline and caffeine! Oh well, it happens. But, the one really cool thing was that Kelly drove all the way down to OC�an 8-hour drive�on 1 hour of sleep! And then, Zerkel took the chickas around and they did a little bit of sightseeing�but when they got back�they took a much-needed nap! Kelly REALLY needed that!
Moral of the Story: If you have a friend coming over to your house, and it's late at night, DON'T fall asleep! It'll just freak you out when you wake up to them knocking on your window and shining their cell phone light through! Just save yourself the trouble and don't fall asleep! :)
