She had a simple, on-campus job in one of the offices. She hardly did anything, other than word processing and copying, so she never missed much of anyting. She didn't callin sick to work much but she did do it a few times...only when she was tired and just didn't want to go.
The girls called (or emailed) in sick to classes a lot more. They would rather spend their time in the mall, or in their dorm room. Who wouldn't?
Moral of the Story: If you can afford to call in sick to class, and you REALLY don't want to go, then don't go! But don't do it all the time; that's the only thing. Do it now and again. :)
