Speed Humps
Y'all know what speed bumps are, right? Well, in a town called San Rafael, they aren't called speed bumps... They're called speed humps! Do we know why? No. We just know that as you drive around the Dominican University campus, and there are about to be speed bumps in the street, you'd see a sign that says "Speed Hump." Oh man...Kelly and Jennifer had SO MUCH FUN making fun of those signs!

The girls have their "ghetto language" that they speak when they want to look stupid and get a laugh...well, whenever they would see one of these signs, they'd both say "speed hump" in their ghetto language. People looked at them so strangely, but the girls were used to it, and laughed whenever someone chose to stare at them in all their dorkiness.

Kelly and Jennifer really wanted to try and steal one of those "Speed Hump" signs and put it on one of the walls in their dorm room. One day, one of the signs was actually knocked over, so the girls went to investigate. Sadly, there really wasn't a way that they could get the sign off the post. They were sad, but then they realized that they would have had a hell of a time trying to get it into the building and into their room without someone seeing them... So, maybe it was a good thing that they couldn't get it off. :)

Moral of the Story: If you really like a street sign, you should take it... Especially if it says "Speed Hump." Signs like that are priceless and should be on display in your living quarters! Forget that it's against the law and just do it! ...Just don't tell anyone where you got the idea. :)
