Byrd's South Pole Ship: Close to the Venetian bridge, Admiral Byrd had his famous antarctic ship moored. The "City of New York," the famous ship which braved the ice packs & the Antarctic winter to carry Byrd & his crew to Little America, whence he flew to the South Pole, is laden with instruments, curios & stories of Byrd's great expidition.
