Congressman Danny Davis of Illinois has introduced MiCASSA in the House of Representatives. This bill would provide for a comprehensive program of home and community services and resources to free our people from institutional confinement. It is bill H.R. 4416.  It already has one cosponsor, Rep. Rob Andrews of New Jersey. Congressman Davis, from the west side of Chicago, will be giving a floor speech in support of MiCASSA in the near future.
