Hi everyone,

I talked to Senator Christine Radogno regarding her potential participation in the plan development committee meeting on 8/1. We discussed the recent meetings with secretary Baker, [the stakeholders Olmstead workgroup and the ADAPT meeting] and I voiced my concern that DHS was dragging it's feet on Olmstead. She said that OCR should be involved. I explained that we have had several meetings with OCR and it was unclear just how much leverage they could apply.

She will not be able to attend the committee meeting because she will be at the convention next week but asked if we could meet with her to discuss the situation. We scheduled a meeting for Wednesday 8/9 at 9:30 AM at her office in La Grange, IL. If you would like to attend let me know, if not we should talk before the meeting on 8/1 at Progress Center from 1:30-3:30 PM.

We are also in contact with Representatives Feigenholtz and Mulligan to update them. If you have any comments or suggestions please contact me with them.
