Hello Everybody,

I spoke to Elaine Hoff this afternoon and she informed me that tomorrow (July 26th), Attorney General Ryan will announce that he will sign onto the pro-ADA Minnesota amicus brief in the Garrett case that is currently pending before the Supreme Court!!!

This is great news and a tribute to the coordinated advocacy efforts of the Illinois disability community on this important issue. We can also thank those within the Attorney General's office who lobbied for this result. Hopefully, Illinois' decision will lead to other state AGs to sign onto the Minnesota brief.

Congrats to everyone who worked on this. It is truly a reason to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ADA!!
