"You know you're right, they probably would," Steven mumbled as he walked out the door.
Once he was home, Steven told his mom all about the movie, his mouth ran like a marathon runner. On and on 'til he was all done. When bedtime came he he sat down and fell asleep like a baby. He had had a long.
The next morning Steven woke up to a frantically ringing phone. He picked it up and fell out of bed.
     "Hello," Steven yawned.
"Hey man, it's me, Wes. We got filming to do. Meet me at the high school by your house."
Steven got up, threw on some clothes, and rushed out the door. He didn't even notice the large breakfast his mom had prepared for him before she went to work.
As soon as got to the school he started skating. They were already filming and Steven was eager to start. At this time, every one was still fairly tired, and the tricks weren't too great. As the day moved on and heated up, so did the skateboarding.
The highlights of the day were Steven's front side flip the seven stair and Wes's 180 flip to k-grind. Somehow they managed to get a full day of skateing in without the usual hassle from secruity guards and such. The day proved to be a good one by all standards.
At about six, Steven went home and Wes went to the TV station to getting the movie just right. Wes worked on the tape 'til midnight getting the movie just right. Wes considered it a masterpiece, and he wasn't too far from the truth.
The next day, Wes and Steven sent a copy of the tape to Shorty's Skateboards with a note telling how they made the movie and what the point was and stuff like that; afterwards they decided to celebrate, so they went skateboarding.
They went skateboarding at a downtown parking lot and then got some lunch. When they came back outside, they saw a security guard. Steven ignored him and dropped his board to get on when the security guard kicked it away. While the security guard and Steven had a bitter exchange of words, the skateboard rolled into the street just as a truck came and ran over it. The board flew everywhere, and the security guard slipped away.
The next two weeks were more dull then ever, for Steven had spent his money making the movie, and there was none left to replace his skateboard.
"Our movie." He thought"Forgot our movie, I'd much rather be skateboarding then watching a movie."
Steven was feeling really low when Wes came by one day.
"Look what I got in the mail." Wes yelled as he walked in the door without knocking. "It's sick."

Dear Steven Hunters and Wes Richer,
We just got a copy of your movie, and it's awesome, we've never seen kids skate like that. Not only would we at Shorty's like to sponsor you, but we'd like to release your movie. I've enclosed two plane tickets to Los Angeles, and if it's okay with your parents, we'd like you to come skate with us 'til school starts again.

                                                                  From the Shorty's crew

"This is going to be a great summer." Steven
