All My LadyBug Links
The Michigan Entomological Society
has some very nice notes about Lady beetles
Iowa State University has some nice pictures and information about Lady Beetles.
The Ohio State University Extension Fact Sheet has all the scientific names and lots of good info.
These links about LadyBugs are pretty cool. Some of them have really good information about LadyBugs and nice pictures too. A Few of these Links don't really have any useful information, but they sell LadyBug Products, and one even sells actual LadyBugs.
Did you know that the most common Ladybug is the Convergent Lady Beetle? It's scientific name is Hippodamia convergens Guerin.
The orange LadyBugs that bite are actually Multicolored Asian Lady Beetles (
Harmonia axyridis).
Agricultural Research Service News fact sheet on the Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle.

The Beneficial Insect Co. "A Reliable Source of Biological Pest Control" These are the people who sell actual Ladybugs by the gallon for people who want to get rid of aphids in the garden. They also sell Praying Mantids and other helpful insects.
The Good Luck Boutique sells a variety of LadyBug things, including a pendent, a pin, a clock and a snowglobe. etc. All very cute. If I had money, I'd love to buy something there.
Creatures by Ken Bakeman Company is selling a cute "9- Spotted LadyBug Beetle Pin"
Okanagan Touch Wood sells cute LadyBug footstools and thumb tacks and wall decorations.
LadyBug Crossing isn't a site that sells anything, but a collection type site like mine, except waaaay better then mine.
These next sites don't have anything to do with ladybugs, but I still reccomend them.
Jay Mathes is one of my good friends. He plays good music that is hard to find these days. Check his site out and maybe buy his CD. I'm on it. On track 7- it's called "Need you".
Nick's page is called Psicow. He has a very good sense of humor. If you want a good laugh, check out his site. Remember to visit his comics page and see the "Drumming Monkey" (turn up your volume or it has no effect.)
Just Morons is a hilarious site. If you've ever done anything stupid in your life, this is the place to go.  Read his book, "The 5-Minute Illiad"- it's full of short reads that are hysterical!
Museum of Hoaxes is a fun site. They have all kinds of facinating info to go through. Funny Pictures too. He has a book out too, by the same title as the site, but right now it's only out in hardcover- soft comes out November.
~Lazy Ladybugs~ is Steph's site. It's really neat. That's where I got this darling background. she has some really cute animations and other cute pictures. check it out!
Ladybugsonthego is another cute collection site like mine- She even has a few of the same pieces I do. Check it out!
