For those of you who do not know, the DBZ OVA aka The Plan to Destroy (Eliminate) the Saiya-jin (aka Project Termination by some fansubbers and The Lost Movie by some fans) was based on a video game with the same name that was made for the Playdia console. The game was the first and probably the only game out there to have an original story line and animation sequences created just for it. In the first part of the OVA, Piccolo and the SSJs team up against seemingly endless hoarde of monsters and find out that they had lost all their signature KI attacks (like Kamehameha, Makankosappo, Masenko, Burning Attack, etc.). They manage to regain them gradually by fighting the monsters and later encounter Freeza, Cooler, Turles, and Slag, which are actually ghost fighters. After a brief battle with the weak minions, the Z Team vaporizes them and travel to Dr. Raichii's hideout. Dr. Raichii reveals himself to be a cyborg that was once entirely Tsufuru-jin, the race that inhabited Planet Planet before the Saiyans took over and renamed it Planet Vegeta. In the battle, Raichii was clobbered by an Oozaru but still managed to escape to another planet, where he began building his castle. When all the Z Senshi lunge towards him to attack, Raichii creates an impenetrably strong ki barrier whose power is drawn from millions of energy spheres located within the castle. Goku manages to break the barrier with his Kamehameha and Vegeta does a Final Flash that vaporizes the villain. All seems well, and Part One ends here.

Part Two begins with Raichii coming back together (like the T1000 in the T2 movie) and making fun of the Saiya-jins. Vegeta gets angry and inserts a ball of ki inside Raichii's ki barrier before it closes up. Raichii is destroyed completely this time, but red lightning and thunder erupts all around the castle. Hatchyack soon emerges from the light as a tall, muscular, red robot, and knocks down Vegeta right away. Slowly, he trudges towards the rest of the Z Senshi (like Broly does) and begins his assault. Each time, he charges up for about 11 seconds before he makes a devastating assault. No one is a match for Hatchyack and they all get knocked down. Fortunately, Piccolo's Senzu beans revive the fighters, and Goku realizes what to do. He stands on a pillar and prepares a Chou Kamehameha. Vegeta follows suit and begins his Final Flash. Gohan and Trunks arrive at Goku's right and left and power up Masenko and the Burning Attack. In the end, the Z Senshi win the Ki battle and Hatchyack is completely vaporized. As the entire castle crumbles down, Goku teleports the others to safety. The OVA ends with the Sons' safe return to Mount Paoz.
