Hey, how are you all doing? This isn't really an update, but whatever. I just finished watching a very meaningful anime film - Grave of the Fireflies. It is quite sad, depressing, and serious, but that's what makes it so good. Most of you will probably have a hard time getting it. DVD's available at amazon.com as usual, and those with access to fansubs have no prob. Alternatively, download it if you have a high-speed connection from ftp or hotline servers. I'd say it's the best anime film I've seen, Ghost in the Shell and the Kenshin OVA tying for second. Also added 2 trance tracks and removed some songs in the lower right corner box. Today is a sad day for many Americans, particularly New Yorkers. This morning at around 8:30-9:00, the World Trade Center was attacked by "kamikazes" (a technique used by the Japs at the end of WWII. Use of this method suggests that human civilization has undergone little development and consideration for each other) planes, planes supposedly hijacked from American and United airlines. I hope that those affected directly by this tragedy, who have lost friends, family, and relatives will feel better. Please hold everything together despite what terrorism and its advocates are trying to do. They want you to break and crumble. Ultimately, they want to deprive you of hope and the will to resist and exist. Please contact a professional if needed, and more importantly, gather around those who care about you and who share the same feelings and interests as you do. I hope you feel better, to all those affected in any way by this event.
