Created and uploaded 120 buddy icons today, bringing the total to a staggering 552 high-quality buddy icons available on the site. The FUSED CHARACTERS and VILLAINS sub-sects of the buddy icons sect have been created; they currently contain 20 and 56 icons, respectively. 15 new Gohan icons, 17 new Goku icons, 4 new Trunks icons, and 8 new Vegeta icons.

I'm confident to say that no single DBZ site on the net can rival CVV in its AIM Buddy Icons archives. >=> ... Anyways, go check out the entire section if you've never been to the site and see how good this site really is ... despite its relatively low number of hits.

Changed the title of the entrance page and added a "Game of the Moment" at the bottom of the menu. Destrega is a relatively old game that I got a while back. Although I think it was first available in 1997, it's still one year later than the latest PSX DBZ game. Besides, the speed of combat and the graphics are far superior to any DBZ game I've seen. So I recommend purchasing this game for all you people out there who don't have/want to install a modchip to play Jap PSX DBZ games.

Some little additions/edits here and there ... SSJ3 Gotenks POWER LEVEL has been changed from 700 mill to 675 mill after I watched some fansubs of the SSJ3 Gotenks/Mystic Gohan era and realized that Gotenks was slightly weaker than Mystic Gohan but a bit stronger than Super Buu Form 1. One new quote in the Jap DBZ QUOTES subsect and one edit in regards to tape V5 of the Gotenks Saga in the FANSUB GUIDE sect - I wrote before that it contained eps 261-262 but I observed that it was actually 260-262 after watching the fansub this morning (which was crap quality). This means that ep 260 is in both V4 and V5 tapes, and this is not an error on my part. Rather, some crackhead @_@ fansubber or fansub distributor apparently ODed when recording (or re-recording) the eps.

I got a few fansubs today, so naturally I would make some edits in the Fansub Guide sect of the site for the benefit of the fans out there ^_^. So I updated the FANSUB GUIDE sect with some corrections with regards to Gotenks Saga: V5. I also commented on the quality of two DB fansubs I got, making a generalization that is most likely true about all the DB tapes. Go check it out yourself.

4 new questions at the end of CVV's main poll and removed the question regarding the future existence of Midi bgms on this site. The majority at 63% did not care (I am so surprised! Unbelievable! ... It's called sarcasm o_o), but those who did (thank goodness; some people still have a heart) voted more for continued existence of such Midi bgms rather than removing them; so they're here to stay. Created and uploaded 132 Goku BUDDY ICONS, bringing the total to 432 High Quality AIM buddy icons. Due to the fact that I re-downloaded Jasc's Paint Shop Pro 7.02 (and the corresponding crack of course ^_^) recently, I can now create buddy icons at a much more efficient rate than with my other image editing program Adobe Photoshop. So keep checking back because I just may add more icons still.

Added a LINK to n o w h e r e that contains reflections of a loner alienated by the faults of the world and the sheer meaninglessness of his society and existence. The Unknown Midi that I added last night was revealed to me by the webmaster of Tegakri to be a song called Eye by the Smashing Pumpkins. The MIDI sounds much better that the mp3 if you ask me, but oh well.

Organized the Past Updates by month and year, added a very cool midi to the MUSIC sect that I obtained from a nice site (created w/ Microsoft Front Page though instead of pure HTML) called Tegakri. Since I don't know where it came from or it's real name, the new midi has been designated as Unknown Midi #2, with Unknown Midi #1 being the ever mysterious vegeta2.mid that I obtained last summer from the BGM of some DBZ site. Added 3 mmedia LINKS also.

Updated THE LEGEND sect of the Database portion of the site with an insight into the controversy of where Gohan first went SSJ2 (some say the Room of Spirit and Time aka RST, some say right after 16 died). Also added some sagas to the main page of the Saga Summaries sect. Although sums for those sagas are not available yet, I just wanted to let you know what sagas will eventually be summarized on this site. This also means that I may skip straight to the Buu Saga (as many of you haven't seen it yet), rather than progressing chronologically (as many of you have already seen the pre-Cell Game sagas).

Well I had some spare time this evening, so I decided to make MP3 CLIPS out of 10 quotes in the JAP DBZ QUOTES subsect (for the most part, the most recent ones near the top of the page), bringing the total to 56. Please remember that in order to download them, you must use some sort of download utility like Getright or Gozilla. Since the majority of visitors will most likely ignore sects on this site that are not mmedia-related, they may never know that there's actually some mmedia (the MP3 Quotes) in the Quotes sect itself. Taking this into consideration, I have added a sect called MP3 QUOTES! to the MMedia sect (Notice that the iconic image for the MP3 Quotes! sect links to the same URL as the one for the Quotes sect). The menu also underwent a change in font size/color and various iconic image links to the mmedia sects have been rearranged, with the Brolly icon being a new one that I created. -Later-

Added 6 new quotes, 3 from the two high relatively high quality American dubs of the Saiya-jin Saga and DBZ Movie 1, 2 from ep 161 of the Jap vers, and 1 from some movie I saw in my Calc class. The Densetsu no Super Saiya-jin (aka The Legend) sect has also been completed (at least for now). I plan to add a pic of Goku in SSJ5 mode and some other pics of Saiya-jin in various SSJ modes when I have more time in the future. Until then, enjoy and cya around.

I added 6 new MOVIE CLIPS, most of which are from the Nonperfect Cell Saga, bringing the total count to 14 high quality clips. Thanks to previous d/l's from the currently offline site ADDBZ, more clips will be on the way, as you can see from the "Coming Soon..." notes accompanying future clips. The Movie Clips sect has been edited in layout; clips are now arranged in strict chronological order and categorized by sagas.

The MP3 of the Moment has been changed to Slipknot -- Wait and Bleed. The page titles for the entrance and main pages have been changed as well.

This is a really good time in "CVV History" for DBZ mmedia fans, as I uploaded (re-uploaded rather) all the Original CAPTURES (the 2nd mmedia sect on the menu), in addition to some that I forgot to upload in the distant past. For those of you who don't know, I had to re-u/l all the caps b/c I violated Tripod's terms of agreement that I could not use it simply as a server to host my files (and here's how I feel about that rule >> -.|.. ^_^). That brings the total number of working caps to 296. Many more MOVIE CLIPS and some QUOTES are on the way as well. -Later-

I added a brand new section that is (sadly) bound to be CVV's most popular sect ... the MOVIE CLIPS section. (Just watch the hits pour in now.. o_o) There are currently 8 clips and more, similarly high quality (that means relatively high frame rate) clips in Real and Windows Media formats will be uploaded in the future. Enjoy and please remember ... use MUST use Getright or some other download software to d/l the clips and any other mmedia in CVV's archives. (One last note about a little change on the Menu - the iconic image links to the Music and Music Vids sects have been changed.)

Removed a "warez" turned smut site o_o link in the Links sect (Yeah, I can't believe it either (insert sarcasm)) and edited the ratings of the two most recent music vids, those being the Trance II Control and No Leaf Clover ones. No Leaf Clover was underrated before with a score of 8.5 and the Trance one was overrated slightly at 9.5. Accordingly, the two ratings have been changed to reflect my new foundings and are now, respectively, 9 and 9.5.

And although I must admit that Linkin Park can't sing for shit, the BGM that they "composed" in Cure for the Itch is pretty good, especially with scenes from DBZ to go along with the beats. I therefore added, with some regret, a new music vid that features that song (thank goodness the vocals were minimal ^_^). Enjoy.

I added a new sect to the Database called "DBZ Evolution," which describes and comments on the gradual changes in the characters' physical features and other aspects of the show as the series progressed. (Visitors who've been to the other sects of this site will notice that the title image on the new page is different from the other ones. This is because my Paint Shop Pro Demo had expired a long time ago so I can only use Adobe to create/manipulate images now, which is not all that bad, I guess.)

Well, it took me forever but I finally reduced the size of each and every iconic menu link to make the site look more ... yeah that's right ... visually appealing and therefore more easily navigable. (See what work I'm willing to put in for your viewing pleasure? ^_^;;) Anyways, I also changed the DBZ logo at the top of this page, but I am currently entangled in this javascript problem. I hope it'll clear up soon.

On a more positive note, I got 67 hits, which quite boggled my mind, as CVV usually averages 10 hits/day and 20 hits/day at the most. I guess my advertising campaign is paying off for those of you who know what I'm referring to ^_^.

This is not really an update, but I have been consistently seeing an AOL IP address in my extreme tracking stats. In other words, some AOL visitor has been consistently visiting my site (and that's a good thing ^_^). Since this site gets so few hits, I would like to personally thank whoever that person is. I scanned the back cover of my DBGTFB manual and manipulated the resulting image to create 5 iconic image headings for each of CVV's main sects. I also changed the look of Piccolo's profile last night, but it's still not very satisfying for me. 4 more quotes added, including two OLS quotes, to the Other Quotes subsect, and one new quote in the Keeper's Quotes subsect.

And I also found out that Majin Mebs, the owner of the site the link to which I placed in my Links sect yesterday, is rather unresponsive on AIM, which I guess is typical of DBZ webmasters who get a lot of hits per day and also of college guys (for some reason). I guess being the owner of a small site does have its advantages, like not being a "sell-out" bowing before the fans/visitors and being so blinded by popularity that one ignores the comments of the very visitors of his site. Whatever ^_^ -Later-

Well, I can't believe I'm working this much on my site. Maybe it's b/c of the saying "Once a webmaster, always a webmaster." At any rate, I updated the Series sect again through the use of tables to make the content more easily readable for greater enjoyment of that sect (though I am fully aware that few people browse the info sects of CVV). Some quotes will be coming tomorrow so check back.

I added a nice mmedia link to some site called Majin Planet; I was quite surprised to find a site whose AIM Buddy Icons sect rivaled mine (Goes to show you that someone somewhere always has an idea that you always thought was original only to you ... oh well). Also added a link to a site with the utility that I had been subconsciously 0_0 looking for intermittently for the past few months - a utility capable of playing .xa music files on a PSX game CD. In fact, Zophar has a utility with not only the ability to decode audio files, but video files as well, and convert them into wav's and avi's. So check out both sites.

I remade the Music Vids sect through the use of tables to make it more organized so that things are easier to read. I also added 3 new high quality music vids, so be sure to check that out. The undermining of Juno worked for me as my intellect and computer manipulative skills came through for me yet again ^_^;;. After like one month of dealing with inferior free isps, I am capable of being online using the top free isp which I had used ever since I first obtained internet access. That means much faster conns and d/l's, so that net access will be most likely much smoother for me now. It's things like this that make me pity the victim ... namely Juno ^_^.
