The links in the Links sect have been categorized according to each site's "specialty." The Song Lyrics sect has undergone a similar change in orientation as well. Both sects are now more organized for easier navigation and browsing of the site. ^_^ The DBZ logo on this page has been changed to one more suitable to the dominant color on this page and I am soon gonna change the visited link color on each page from midnight blue to light slate gray (there's little contrast diff between midnight blue and black). 93 Gohan buddy icons were created last night and u/l'ed today. That brings the total number of high quality dbz buddy icons in CVV to 300. The Humor section will arrive shortly so check back later.

46 new Trunks buddy icons are up for dl. More are coming. Please publicize CVV as much as you can because it IS a nice site. In addition, I found out that I incorrectly gave credit to a site for much of the info I used in the Obscure Info sect. The old link has been replaced by some site called DragonBall-Z-GT, the actual site from which I gathered the info for that sect. The Fansub Guide sect will also be based largely from the Products page on that site.

I finally successfully added the javascript roll over image change effect on the entrance page. And who would've thought it was as simple as copying and pasting and some minor editing. It was just a matter of finding the right site to provide me with the source, but the real lesson I got out of this is actually a recurring fact of life ... that no one is out there to lend you a hand. You have to rely on your strength, in all meanings of the word, to grasp your goals.

3-19-01 / Night
Well, I finally fixed the javascript error on the entrance page after a few days of mangling with the problem (those of you who visited CVV would know what I'm talking about). My goal is to have a simple javascript mouse rolling over change image effect, but I just can't get it off for some reason... At any rate, the CVV "logo" at the top of this page has been changed from a yellowish-white to a more greenish-blue color. Originally, I added a javascript light effect to it, but decided not to keep it as a still image later on. A couple of duplicate icons in the new buddy icons section have been fixed, so enjoy those. The humor section has been removed temporarily because I felt that there was insufficient, low quality content there. Two new links have been added and as a final word, the number of hits I get each day never seems to amaze me (insert sarcasm) ... why is it some cool site like mine with lots of content gets so little hits when compared to sites that only possess attractive layouts and don't have jack for content. Oh well, I guess CVV is doomed to remain underground. (PS o_o At the rate of hits I'm getting per day, it'll take me roughly 30 years more to acquire the same amount of hits that PlanetNamek gets in a one-day period. Peace out.)

A new section, the Fansub Guide, will be arriving shortly to CVV. Although I only know that it's helpful for a certain fansub shop in the NYC metropolitan area, some other fansubbers in other areas of the United States might only number their tapes like he does, so check back in a few days. I was going to upload this zip file that contains detailed summaries of virtually every DB and DBZ manga book. However, I can't manage to u/l it to the Geocities server (error: invalid file extension). If anyone of you out there know of a server that allows the u/l of zip files or would like to host the small 500kbs file, just email me.

The main picture on the entrance screen has been changed yet again and I think this one will be remaining there for quite a while. I also changed the smaller Vegeta pic below the main image to a higher quality version. I would also like to change the trivia sect so that it is a multiple-choice quiz generated with cgi scripting, but I am too lazy to learn cgi -_-; If anyone knows of some tool that generate cgi codes for you, please email me to tell me about em.

Probably the best multimedia section in CVV has been begun and was uploaded today. It is the AIM Buddy Icons sect, where I bet you you'll find the most high quality DBZ buddy icons ever on one single DB site. Currently there are around 165 bud icos and more are on the way. (By the way, this reminds me of that little Tripod incident, where they shut down my account b/c I was only using it to host files on a remote site. I really hope it wasn't some bakayaro who visited my site in the past, somehow found out my Tripod URL, and reported to them about my "abuse"...) In addition to the Buddy Icons sect, a Wallpapers Sect might also be added soon to CVV, so keep checking back for those Desktop Item-type fanstuff. I added 7 new questions to the poll, some of which are merely for statistical reference to let me know what type of people visit my site. I also added one link to the Links sect and links to Signing and Viewing my Guestbook on the menu bar. I hope this encourages some of you that had previously ignored the GB links on the entrance page to access my GB and give me some feedback on CVV.

It appears that some stupid people on Lycos Tripod have removed my site and deleted all my original screencaps that I had stored on a Tripod account. Upon logging into Tripod to see what the problem was, I was notified that my site had been removed because it "violated" their terms of service, namely that I could not use Tripod simply as a server for storing my files that I link to on other non-Tripod sites. Oh well... I guess those of you who just can't wait to see my caps 0_0 would have to wait until I have some free time to u/l all of them onto my Geocities account.

Well, yesterday I received an email from someone who visited my site recently, the first fanmail I received since this site opened in March of last year -_-;. Anyways, a bud of mine by the name of SSJGotek has advertised a bit for me on a game forum and I am getting some more hits (thanks mon). I also joined a couple of new topsites, as you can see with the new banners on the entrance page. The entrance image has been changed to Super Vegeta blasting off towards Cell just before he fires an enormous blast at him for killing his only son Trunks 0_0

I embedded a cool mp3 on the entrance page that I made myself from a full ep of 229 that I downloaded a while back. Also, I added a nifty bar at the bottom of this page that lets you know how many visitors are at CVV at any given moment.

3-7-01 / Night
The Trivia section has a new layout. (This probably should have been done like 2 weeks ago when I changed the layout of every section on the site, but I only found the time to do so today.) The Music section has a new MIDI, namely the one that plays when you enter the Trivia section. Also, the links section has been updated with a noting of the sites that have been offline for a few months or more. If you ask me, it is unlikely that they will ever be up again. However, they will probably still remain in the section because they were very good sites when they still existed.

3-5-01 / Night
The only reason why I am making a huge update is because I have no school today as a result of a closing of all the public schools in the metropolitan area (too bad there's school tomorrow though ... but who said life's devoid of challenges etc ^_^) as a result of harsh weather conditions of sleet/snow/hail/rain. Lucky me... so I uploaded 2 new sections - the Voice Actors and Obscure Info sects. They are loaded with information, so please check them out if you are looking to expand your DBZ knowledge 0_0. Also, I bought a new keyboard after my last one malfunctioned like last week, so there might be more frequent updates. -Later-
