| Why I got started in cosplay... I've been interested in Japanese animation and culture since the 6th or 7th grade (before that all I knew was Sailor Moon), however I didn't find out that anime conventions until like 7th grade. Even then, I didn't know they had conventions in Florida! however I later found out there were some in Orlando. In Aug. 2001 I met someone at the Morikami who had been to a few cons and she told me about them... Well to say the least I ended up going to my first con in March of 2002 and it was the best time ever! I had made my first real attempt at a costume the previous Halloween, which was Eriol from Card Captor Sakura (My bisshie^^ and My absolute most favoritest male character from one of my absoulute most favoritest shows^^) and about 2 or 3 weeks before the con I made another costume of an original character, little Grasshopper... |
| Why I LUV cosplay so much! Erin was right when she told me the cons are awsome! I had SUCH a wonderful time at Anime Express and met so many wonderful people that I got hooked! To me cosplay is a chance to get out and do something not too many people do! I luv sewing and I luv anime! The cons are an awsome time for me to hang out with other anime fans! |
