Background:
Born into royalty in the Capital City of Alliance of Nations, Solstice, Cerin was viewed from the start as special. His parents were the ones who brought about the revolution against the Nation of Tal. Cerin was born a year after the fall of Tal in the battle of Xel Granis. In his early years, Cerin was taught by the greastest minds the nations had to offer. Kightan Crystalle, Icarus Drygrave, Primus Whitespeare, Kyala Lunae and his Cerin's father were considered to be the best and brightest in their fields, and Cerin learned from them all. While Cerin still acts like a child at times, he is a brillant man, excelling at magic, scholastics, and swordplay. Cerin was raised by his bigger brother Daigon for the most part, having his half-brother Ihsyn dispense "wordly advise" every now and again. Cerin is VERY jealous of his brothers. He hates how Ihsyn gets all the girls, and how Daigon commands the respect of the New Order High Council. Now, he has turned 19, and he has a new objective in life. A new threat calling themselves the Black Powder Army has been destroying kingdom after kingdom in the alliance. Lead by unknown former heads of the Nation of Tal, this new evil threatens to destroy everything Dalfon and the others struggled to create. Dalfon is now too weak to fight, however, having Daigon take over for him in his weakened state. After his father was told of a group of people who were born with the same types of markings as he and his family, and who have the power to stop the threat of the Black Powder Army, Cerin was sent out to find others who possess these marks, in a hope to bring about a Guardian Council to protect the remaining countries in the Alliance.
