| *For purposes of my character, the profile will be a bit different from standard format. Gomen ne, Phae! =^^.=;; Name: Original unknown, adopted and renamed Barret Rose Ashley Age: 24 Birthday: October 29th, 1979 Birthplace: Present: Somewhere in Japan/Past: Kingdom of Pluto Sex: Female Blood Type: O- Zodiact Sign: Scorpio Fav. Foods: Berries, Fruit, Couscous, and just about anything with peanut butter Least Fav. Foods: Seafood, anything French that isn't a pastry Their Gemstone: Opal Fav. Gemstone: Sapphire Colors: Purple, Black, and Silver Strengths: Dark and Negative energies, Time magicks Weaknesses: Physical attacks, her sister Senshi: Unknown, due to the fact that she has yet to remember anything about her Senshi form other than the transformation words (although, if the occasion arises, has felt quite comfortable referring to herself as the Senshi of Darkness and of the Night) Occupations: Freelance Web Designer (and, behind closed curtains, sometimes takes odd jobs hacking and getting information for clients), Freelance Bum Hobbies: Playing video games (thank god for PS2 =^^.=), and the occasional designing and inventing of strange and unusal.. inventions.. (for instance, she's currently designing a Gundam.. go her!) Family: Barret Kevin and Amada (adopted parents), Meioh Setsuna (biological sister) Appearences: Normally is about 5'8, with ankle-length hair dyed a dark purple, (as her natural dark green brought up too many painful memories) which she leaves to do as it wishes, not bothering with anything more than washing it twice per day. She shares her sister's reddish brown eyes, but because of her horrible vision, wears contacts to make her eyes more of a goldish yellow. Her body itself is very thin and weak, almost emaciated, and very pale, all due to the Dark Energy still dwelling within her. However, as she uses her Dark powers less and less, her body becomes stronger, as the inverse is also true: every time she uses the power, her body suffers more and more. Her senshi form is the standard Senshi uniform, and except for the difference in color scheme, is almost identical to that of Pluto's. In her Dark Kingdom form, she wears the standard uniform (the one that Kunzite, Zoicite, and all the others wore) but black instead of gray, without the gloves due to her gauntlets, and the sleeves are shorter to allow more comfortable maneuverability. Also, extending from her back are her two great wings. When not used, she encases all but her head in them, providing warmth, protection, and camouflage in dark areas. Jewelry: In her normal form, wears nothing more than the garnet ring, unbeknowst to her, given to her by her sister. In her Senshi form, wears the standard choker and earrings, as her ring magically grows in size to become her tiara. In her Dark Kingdom form, she refuses to wear any; the less the better (unless you count her crystal gauntlets.. I mean, they're really pretty and shiny!) Weapons: Crystal Gauntlets (Dark Kingdom), Triple-Edged Sword (the Jupitarian weapon, and Senshi), and if you count spells as weapons, a spell she has yet to remember. Background: Alrighty, this is the part you've all been waiting for, the lengthy (but, I'll make this as concise as I can without sacrificing the needed detail) past of Ashley, both during the Silver Millennium and during the present. It's divided into four parts, telling of her life on Pluto, Jupiter, the Dark Kingdom, and in the present, Earth. If, for whatever reason, you want the detailed version (now complete with dialogue!), then IM me or something. Oh, and in the original story (the story this character is originally from), Charon was male, so there are some subtle changes as to make him female, and his life on Earth was drastically different... okay! Here it is! Pluto Naturally, regardless of sex, the first born child of Pluto had the grim and lonely fate of becoming, at the age of 16, the Guardian of Time. Like her father before her, Pluto was brought up to becoming the Guardian, with all responsibilities that entailed. However, even before her birth, the King and Queen of Pluto knew that a second child must be born, who would be their to the throne. Thus, two years after the birth of Pluto, Charon was born (exactly two years after, strangely enough.) Due to the fact that the kind had to guard the gates of Time, and the Queen had to take care of Pluto's affairs, the children were often togather under the care of a sitter, and rarely seperated even despite the difference in age. Sure enough, they became very close, and although each knew of other's destinies as well as their own, they still made the ill fated promise of always being togather. They were nearly inseparable, until of course, Pluto's 16th birthday. At first, Charon tried to convince her parents to let her accompany her sister at the Gates, and after being refused, attempted to convince Pluto not to go. Alas, she did, and heartbroken, Charon turned her anger against Pluto and her family, and fled the Kingdom of Pluto, traveling as far as beyond the asteroid belt. Eventually, she ended up on Jupiter. Jupiter The strength of Jupiter's army was well known throughout the galaxy. Unfortunetly, tis very strength often got to the heads of cocky, young privates, and became arrogant of the commoners. Although most of the details will be skipped, there was one incident where a fanatical commoner had destroyed the supports holding a balcony where he knew a certain arrogant soldier preferred to spend most of his time. However, it never worked out that way, as while taking a stroll, the Princess of Jupiter stopped at this certain balcony. The supports collapsed, and she fell to the ground below. By a stroke of luck, Charon happeaned to be walking by, and caught the falling princess (or rather, acted as a cusion between Jupiter and the ground.) After speaking with the King od Jupiter, she was awarded with a guarding position, as one of the Princess's escorts. However, when asked for her name, her hatred of her sister and homeland, as well as the fear of being discovered, prevented her from giving her true name. Instead, she spoke of the first name that came to her mind: Katsuki. Despite her post-commoner status, she grew quickly in rank, and it took no more than a year to be granted the position of personal bodyguard to the princess. During this time, she had sparked up quite a friendship with Jupiter. As Jupitarian custom, personal bodyguards had weapons specially designed for their body type, skill, and preferance. Being brought to the ironsmith, she was in awe at the number of weapons, and asked Jupiter to decide for her. Thus, she was given an ancient and uncommon weapon, a double sided sword; one with a blade on either side of the hilt. With this, Katsuki continued to train, serving her princess well, until she began to think. While she never questioned her purpose or intent, Katsuki began to question her feelings. Eventually, they had become so strong, she faced the undeniable fact: she had fallen in love with the princess of Jupiter. Now, same sex relationships were not altogather uncommon, but they were not very respected either, especially with high-ranking officals and royalty (as shown in the controversy between the suspected love of the princesses of Uranus and Neptune) Skipping many details, one day, Katsuki finally decided to admit her feelings to her princess. On a side note, during Pluto's first term as Guardian, she had become very lonely. So, the Plutonian royalty had fashioned a set of mirrors that could allow Pluto to communicate with her friends, loved ones, and of course, Queen Serenity in terms of business and duty. Although the true intent of the communication with Jupiter at that particular time is unknown, what is known is what happened. As Katsuki stepped into the princess's room and saw the image of her sister projected in the mirror, she became consumed by the rage that had lay dormant for so long, and hurled her weapon at the mirror, destroying it. Unfortunately, several shards of glass flew out and struck Jupiter. Disgusted with herself, Katsuki fled once more, traveling inward. Dark Kingdom Although Katsuki had heard of the Dark Kingdom, she never truly understood what it was until her short stay in the Kingdom of the Moon. Blaming her sister for her loneliness and abandonment, as well as for Jupiter's injuries, her rage eventually became a wish to kill her sister. Thus, she traveled to Earth and, locating and passing through a dimensional gateway, ended up in the Dark Kingom. Eventually, she was captured, and brought before Queen Beryl. However, she managed to convince the queen of her hatred, thus preventing the need for brainwashing (as information very valuable to the Dark Kingdom would have been lost in the process, along with her memories, as well.) Also, convincing the queen to merely imbue her with dark energy instead of turning her into a youma, which so many of the lower soldiers had been forced to undergo. In return for this, Queen Beryl would be given all the information Katsuki had gathered in her travels. Also, the Queen gave a promise that Katsuki would be allowed to be Pluto's executioner. In return for this, she would have to kill Princess Serenity. When asked for her name, she replied, "There is no name which I hold dear; rather, call me Alexial, after the Earthian angel whom defied her creator and brethren alike." Thus, the experiments began. Because of her hatred and anger, she was capable of storing an amazing amount of dark energy. However, the experiment was not a complete success, as there were side effects: two large, black, angelic-like wings sprouted from her back. These could not be used though, as the dark energy had also deteriorated her body, her back muscles becoming too weak to use them for true flight. Alexial trained hard, and by the time of the war against the Moon Kingdom, she was among the front line of soldiers in Kunzite's faction of the army. By this time, she had also fashioned a pair of crystal gauntlets with long, sharp talons on the end of each finger, as the time spent had twisted her mind, giving her the sadistic pleasure of ripping her oppents apart with her bare hands. Hence came the inevitable war with the Moon Kingdom, and, as promised, she would have to kill the Princess of the Moon before she was allowed to do battle with her sister. Unfortunately, she also had strict orders to not harm Prince Endymion, (due to the Queen's love for him) and was forced to do battle with him. Being restricted from killing him (as she had been trained as a slaughterer, and had not been trained in proper one-on-one dueling), she was left incapacitated long enough for Princess Serenity to steal the Silver Crystal and attempt to heal Alexial with it. Unfortunately, her hatred still clung to the Dark Energy, and she had taken in so much, that the shock to her system killed her. Earth While Ashley was indeed born into the Meioh family, for unknown reasons she was put into an orphanage, and adopted by a young couple living in America. There, renamed as Barret Rose Ashley, she enjoyed a normal childhood. Unlike most young girls though, her favorite toy was not a doll or play set, but a great ash tree in a small patch of woods behind the house she grew up in (partly because her parents had named her after the tree). As she grew older, memories of her past life slowly unveiled themselves, until she remembered enough to unleash the power she had once as a Dark Kingdom soldier. At the age of 13, she left home in search of her sister, the girl she was destined to kill. She eventually did find her, as she was caught in the middle of a Sailor Senshi battle. Attacking Pluto at first glance, she was unsuccessful in her attempt to kill her. After the Sailor Senshi had fled, she came across a small ring embedded with a garnet crystal. For reasons unknown to her, she kept it. At this point in time, as evil enemies grew stronger, her Dark Kingdom became less and less effective. Her body was physically weak, and without being enchanted with Dark Energy, even her gauntlets had little effect. Without other options, she struggled to find another way to fight. Eventually, after wearing the garnet ring long enough, a few words managed to appear in her mind. Speaking these words, she transformed into her Senshi form. However, her fuku was so similar to Pluto's, she ripped it from her body and detransformed. Transforming again, the fuku reappeared. Because she knew she had no other choice but to use this power in lieu of her Dark power, but at the same time couldn't face her own appearance, she dyed her fuku to a more suitable color. And, luckily, when she transformed next, her new colors had replaced the old one. Although her name, Charon, did bring up many painful memories, she had grown enough to be able to channel those memories into a hatred of her sister, without suffering from the beserker rage that had gripped her for so long. In this form, she had the power to summon her Jupitarian weapon (although must do it safely, as it takes a few seconds to fully form, and will disappear if the sequence is disturbed), but has yet to remember the key words needed for her spell. In addition to the death of her sister, she has another task: to find the Princess of Jupiter once more, and tell her the one thing she was too afraid to once before.
