| Daisuke Ido: An ex-citizan of Tiphares and a very good cyborg doctor. His main income comes from being a hunter-warrior so he can take on charity jobs. The real reason he's a bounty hunter is the thrill of the kill and nothing else. He wouldn't kill any innoconts; actually he saves them even if there is no reward. He wished that Alita didn't become a hunter-warrior but then he relised that he cannot tell her what to do; also that the scrap yard chews up and spits out innocents. He was killed when Zapan went on a rampage but Nova was able to heal/reserect him. Nova then told him the secret of Tiphares and rather then go insane Ido wiped his memory. |
| Gonzu: Doctor Ido's assistant and he runs a food stall. He has a large heart and that's probibly why he works for Ido. He works at a soup kitchen after Ido loses his memory and marries a simple girl named Shumira. |
| Izuchi: Makaku's henchman that promptly gets killed by Ido. |
| Makaku: His mother flushed him down the toilet when he was born and he grew up in the sewers. He was badly burnt by a man with a flame-thrower and began to rot alive. Nova saved him and gave him a cyborg body. He's a morphine addict which he gets by eating brains. He almost kills Alita before she gets her beserker body. She ultimitly kills him but he doesn't care if he dies; he just wanted someone to listen to his cries and give his life meaning. |
