Chapter 4: A NEW LIFE
Miyamoto awoke the next morning in a strange place...a little bedroom with 2 beds, a bathroom and a table. After a moment she remembered where she was: at Team Rocket HQ!
She remembered the last night when Madame Boss told her about the job in the organization. But when Miyamoto went to bed it was almost 2:00 in the morning so she was a little stunned.
Quicky Miyamoto got out of bed,went to the bathroom and got dressed in her usual clothes. Then she took her backpack and went out to the cabin. She asked many people (all wearing a TR uniform, of course) about Madame Boss' office and she finally found it.
" Who is it? Oh, Miyamoto! Please come in!" The voice of Madame Boss said.
" Good morning Ma'am. I'm here to start my work in the organization."
"Yes...as I said yesterday, before you'll start work for me a member will show you the place and tell everything about the Rocket Gang. In other words, you will be...like trained."
"Yess, Ma'am. But before that...I want you to know that I really appreciate what you're doing for me. Without you're help I'd be nowhere." Miyamoto said thankfully.
"You know, as I said I'm always heppy to help young women like you." Madame Boss smiled.
"C'mon, let's start our job." The woman took up the phone from her desk and spoke.
"Yukino I need you in my office right now! I've got a job for you."
Two minutes later a blonde haired girl with brown eyes about the same age as Miyamoto entered into the office. She was wearing a black outfit with a red R on it.
"Good morning Ma'am. You wanted to see me, right?" The girl asked kneeling.
"Good morining Yukino. This is a new member. She came here last night and now I want you to show her the place and explain how we work in team rocket."
"Yes Ma'am. As you wish."
And the two girl went out Madame Boss' office.
"I'm sure that those girl will make friends very soon." Madame Boss said to herself smiling.

"So you're new here. Well, I'll show you the base. Don't worry, it's not so complicated as you can think. Oh, and my name is Yukino. What's yours?" Yukino seemed so kind and friendly to Miyamoto.
Miyamoto introduced herself. Soon, she found out that Yukino was her same age and that she came from Fuchsia city. Miyamoto wondered why Yukino came from a so far cidy but didn't ask that.
Yukino showed Miyamto the entire base of the Rocket Gang. At the first floor there was the Viridian City pokemon gym whick Madame Boss ran in her spare time and to cover her real activity.
The rest of the base was in the underground: a secret elevator brought team rocket members to it.
There were alot of member's cabins with 2 bed: partners slept together. There there was Madame Boss' office, her bedroom and her private room, a training room, a research labratory and many other things.
Yukino explained to Miyamoto about the ranks in team rocket.
"New recruits have to pass a test: if you get over 50% you'll be a black rocket just like me. If you get under 50% you'll be a white rocket and if you get under 25% you'll be a dan' in." Yukino said.
Miyamoto liked team rocket. She hoped to get at least 50% in the initial test so she could be partnered with Yukino who was the only person (exept for Madame Boss) she had met there.
Later Miyamoto had to do the test. The question were not very hard but yet not very simple. After a while she found what her total was: she got 62%.
Miyamoto couldn't believe she would have been a black rocket!
Soon, she was called in Madame Boss' office.
" Congratulations, Miyamoto, oh, Miyamoto chan, can I? Now you are a black rocket, the same rank as Yukino. So you two can be partners from now and tomorrow you'll start work as a black rocket of the Rocket Gang!" Madame Boss said with satisfaction.
Miyamoto thought she was happy too about her results.
So she and her new partner, Yukino, went Madame Boss' office and in the direction of their cabin.
"You will see, Miya, we'll become very good friends and we'll have a lot of fun." Yukino smiled.
Miyamoto felt so good in that place...it wasn't like home: in team rocket there were friends and she liked thinking about herself as a rocket member. She wondered what her mother would have said.
But that was only imagination...instead, her new life as a rocket member, was attending her.
