| Paul at the Roman Colliseum. The Colliseum was really huge, I couldn't even look at it without it seeming ... strangely big! I got into the inside for a price of 15000 lire. And well, there I am! A lot of the other tours seems lacking something after seeing the Colliseum up close. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Our tour guide told us about how troublesome it was for Italy to get marble, since they can't mine it there. Instead, they have to import the expensive marble from other countries such as Greece. On another note, this is Italy's Santa-Maria church. It's made entirely out of marble. |

| The most beautiful city I've ever seen, Capri Italy. Views such as this one were actually common there! The shopping was also good, and they had a shop with the best orane/peach juice mix I've sever tasted in my entire life! The Blue Grotto was the highlight of this city - the most beautiful cave you'll eeeee-ever see. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Vatican was full of amusing sites, including this ... thing. Apparantly this really isn't a replica of the Death Star, but their explanation was so bizarre and symbolic it's not even worth bothering your mind with. It's a big broze Death Star model, and we all know it. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The "real" statue of David, one of the most famous pieces of art in the entire world. The David is kept in a museum which on the outside looks more like one of those abandoned warehouses in Woodstock than the resting place of a priceless sculpture. Actually, a lot of places in Italy were like that - run down and crumbling on the outside, yet modern and beautiful on the inside. It was nice to see a statue that despite being nude, didn't have a sickening focus on the male genitalia. Such sculptures (and postcards) seemed to be rather prominent in Italy. |

| The biggest freakin' fountain you're ever seen. They say that if you throw a coin into this fountain, you'll return to Roma, so our tour guide gave us all a coin to throw in. Mine went straight into my pocket and stayed there. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
