This year Dramarama put on two weeks of theatre camp, leading up to a small production called Lost in Hoompfaloo. Students learned about performance skills, dance, and production, through various workshops and activities. Then, at the end of each day, time was alloted for rehearsal of the play. I was very honoured to be able to help out with the teaching and rehearsal process of this year's Dramarama. Teaching younger children was a very rewarding experience, and I hope to come back again next year and help out once more. It was interesting to see what happens behind the scenes in a production for once, as opposed to taking an onstage role. Of course, if it's theatre, it has to be fun, and has to have a lot of cool people to work with! Here are just a few of the pictures I have of the many talented young performers!

The hopelessly lost crew, each with their own personality trait and everything! You know what those silver outfits remind me of? Beauty School Dropout, that's what!

I'm not so sure you can strike a cuter pose than this ... or sing the Hoompfaloo song in a cuter fashion, for that matter. Note the alien hats in the background. Some were quite amusing.

As mean as it may be to say ... there's only one thing I can really say about this picture - I'm VERY surprised that Travis was able to stay still long enough for me to take it.

You have no idea just how difficult it is to untangle somebody's hair from pipe cleaners. Jessica and I were at it for a good 15 minutes, I swear. Ouch.

I can't think of a single thing wrong with this picture. It's one of the cutest things I've ever seen in every possible way. What else is there to say?
