"It hasn't always been like this" I thought to myself as i made my way down the corridor of my new school, coldbrook academy."It was'nt supposed to turn out this way..." I had always assumed i had good intentions, that i was a good pony.I really thought so! Which is funny, because people have told me otherwise, i just choose not to listen. I squeezed in closer to the wall to aviod crashing into some older guy. I pulled my sweatshirt tighter around me,hoping it would provide some comfort.Why was it that i had to be shipped off to some stupid academy every morning, from now on, for the rest of my highschool years? I'd always assumed id go off to highschool with my friends, like always, wasn't that the plan? Actually, i had no way of being sure, I had no control over my life these days. I pulled out my crumpled schedule from my pocket. Where the hell was room 213? I passed several doorways, wondering if i was lost.Knowing me, room 213 was on the other end of the academy.I smiled to myself.
"Excuse me."
I moved closer yet to the wall, letting the girl pass.It seemed like i was in the way of everybody these days.Maybe i was right, maybe something WAS wrong wth me.Maybe thats why most of my old friends had stopped talking to me. Ever since my mom died a year ago, my whole life has been turned over,and i've changed.
Refusing to be swallowed in self pity, i forged on to room 213.
