Moon Goddess I looked up at the moon as I lie, hurt and dying in the dark, ashamed, cold, and crying. The moon, she looked back at me. She covered me in her cool pale light. "Don't cry anymore." A soft voice said. Opening my eyes to find the voice, I was no longer in my room, but surrounded by pale light and soft shadows no longer in pain. A beautiful woman, in dress of stars stood near me. Her skin pale, her eyes beautiful clear blue, And her hair woven of the purest silver. "Child, be ashamed no longer…" she whispered. Her voice, clear and calm, like chimes in an autumn breeze. The Moon woman touched my face, where my tears of shame and self-hate had been. "Poor child…Let me help you…" She said as she took my hand. Again, I was in my room. She must have been a dream. Though now I'm not alone. I'm looking into the dark blue eyes of my love. His eyes full of truth and I felt tears running down again. Then, I heard him whisper "I forgive you…" And I felt myself breathe again, so I cried.
