Sitting and watching
she's sighing and waiting
day starts, she goes
day ends, back again
endless painful grating
over in her head

she's wanting
wishing for a word,
Hating the abyss of lonliness
that awaits her
feeling like a caged up bird

Agony by Agony
sears across  flesh
as her nails dig into it
asking herself
shivering with an inner winter
how in summer could it be so cold?

Bitterness by Bitterness
won't leave her mind and mouth
the tang of tears and blood linger
the thoughts of rage and abandoment live
"why is it always like this?"
growled in rage, it goes ignored
as the darkness and ice spear her
until she's a wreck
and tears are endlessly poured
