Requiem My body lay there in my casket of polished dark wood lined with white satin My soul watches They cry I have no tears to shed for i am spirit now and glad i'm dead Those who never cared Will not miss me Those who did to them My soul whispers "farewell" They lament my death And I hear it as my requiem As they lay roses of fine crimson the only life now Life left to dwindle in my grave.
