Loneliness

Every now and again
I find myself staring
blankly in an empty mirror

No reflections but my own
nobody standing behind me or beside me
No warm arms around me

Once there was light
but what was there
had suddenly went dark
now i'm blindly stumbling
and rapidly my heart is crumbling
God save me...

Falling in love before
now falling apart some more
Burning warm light feelings
turned cold and dark
now just ash and stone
the leavings of long gone passion's fire.
