Sitting at her instrument, Chiara Bertoglio, not to be discuted, highlighted extraordinary gifts: from the fingers' quickliness, bounded to a clearness and to a technical skill really incredible for the age, but above all a musicality that enchants and enthralls in the poethic world that Chiara Bertoglio faces... So, not a virtuosity to itself, that could highlight exterior gifts, but deepen, discovery of musical values and emotional return to the public, that remains invariaby seduced by them.

Sunday 10th November, on the stage of the Concert-Hall of the Turin Conservatoir, there wasn't one of the "sacred monsters" that usually are the guests of the Unione Musicale. In front of the public, with a program wholly dedicated to Schubert, there was a young girl not yet 14, Chiara Bertoglio. In spite of the age, she has a biography very respectable, comprehensive, among other things, of absolute successes in competitions like as the Clementi Kawai of Florence in 1991 (at 8!).

The interest was completely justified by the exceptionality of the performer: it was in fact possible to admire the talent and the extraordinary maturity of a child pianist. At 10, thanks to a study begun extremely early, she is able not only to play pieces by famous authors, and technically difficult ones, as Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, but also to talk to the public, kindly and properly, about the music she is going to play.

Chiara Bertoglio, with her 15 years, is just a little more than an enfant prodige... With many knowledge, she chooses works that are very suitable to her technique and personality. Also the Sonata C major op. 2 n. 3, thanks to a loose-limbed touch, makes us thinking to the composer when he was young and still life-loving.
