Back straighter when held in sitting position

From 4 months-starts to take own weight when held in standing position

Sits with support

Rolls front to back

Lying on tummy raises up on palms

Sits unaided

Might shuffle along floor

Might pull self into standing position

May walk anytime between 8-20mths

Can reach out for a toy when sitting without falling over

Turns head and eyes towards light Follows moving object with eyes

Watches own hands

Grasps small objects

Constantly look around

Loves watching people Uses index finger to poke small objects
Responds to your voice Turns head to follow sound

Makes noises

'Speaks' tunefully to self and others Accurately locates sounds

Babbles and responds with noises
